USES & COOKING SUGGESTIONS
Cockscomb is great for fresh bouquets, but also dries very well. Hang small bundles of the flowers with stalks upside-down in a dry, warm, dark place. We use these to decorate our Christmas Tree, as they hold a lovely red color, but they are also a welcome addition to any dried flower arrangement or wreath. When you are drying the flowers, put a sheet underneath and you will be able to collect seeds for next year’s garden!
