Product Description

SOWING
Sow beans 1-2″ deep. It is recommended to soak beans 2-6 hours prior to planting.

pH 6.5-6.8

PLANT HEIGHT
Bush Type 1-2 feet

PLANT SPACING
Plant seeds every 2-3″ with 18″-36″ between rows.

HARDINESS ZONES
Beans are NOT hardy and will die with light frost.

HARVEST
Allow plants to mature until pods brown. Allow pods to dry, bringing indoors if necessary, then shell these white soup beans.

COMPANION PLANTING
As beans fix nitrogen, they pair well with many other crops especially beets, celery & celeriac, cabbage, potatoes, leeks, and radishes. Strong scented herbs planted near beans may discourage bean beetle.
