Description
Annual Euphorbia, 3ft tall with showy, sage-green, white-edged leaves and bracts surrounding tiny flowers. Excellent as a long-lasting cut flower, great for bridal bouquets, or for a drift of white at the back of a flower border. Once established, plants are fairly drought tolerant and trouble free. Sow indoors and transplant out once danger of frost is past. This Euphorbia will self seed if left once seed pods form. To prevent self seeding, cut the plants back when the seed pods are just forming and still green. Or allow them to self seed and thin to 10-12 inches apart once the seedlings emerge to allow plants to develop well. You can also direct sow in your garden, but plants that are direct sown tend to be a little short and less productive.
