USES & COOKING SUGGESTIONS

Also called strawberry spinach, the leaves of beet berry can be used like spinach in salads or sauteed, but the strength of this unique plant is as a way to interest kids in gardening (it’s just about irresistible, and perfect for small spaces and containers) or as a decorative element for adventurous chefs looking for something unusual and delightful to brighten a plate. Whole stalks make a perfect adornment to anything that wants a garnish.

They grew very quickly and were very hardy! just…not that tasty. Interesting in a salad dressing. Next year I’m just going to eat the greens
